Need help with the new advance green technology for building my own house that can ensure the water or energy efficiency. Please give the material references. Thanks!

by using silica fumes as a admixture in cement cncrete we can get high peramance concrete. it will help in reduction of water content but we dont get workbitity problems.Pozzolanic reaction occurs between silica fume and the CH, producing additional CSH in many of the voids around hydrated cement particles. This additional CSH provides the concrete with not only improved compressive, flexural and bond- strength but also a much denser matrix.

you should take proper care while mixing of silica fumes into cncrete. otherwise some respetary problems wiil occur.

2. green technology

using fly ash as a addmixture this will improve stength of concrete and wrkability also. fly ash is a waste material whis is availble near thermal power stations upto 30% we can replace cement with fly ash it is a pozzolana material it will improve the stenght of concrete gradually and fly ash will reduce the heat of hydration by using fly ash as a addmixture this will be reduce water content and we can reduce cenent content also.

this material is water and energy efficient.
