Is are there any apparent relationships between Hct and Hb I

Is are there any apparent relationships between Hct and Hb? If so, what are they? If not, give one or more plausible explanations for those observations.

Solution

B. Hb or hemoglobin is the protein present in the blood that carries oxygen to different cells of the body. Hct or hematocrit also called as packed cell volume is the portion of blood that is composed of packed cells that is RBCs.

So these are two different tests but both of them are used to diagnose the anemia .

C. The normal hb values for males is 14 to 18 gram per decilitre and for females it is 12 to 1u g/dl

The hct values for males is 40 to 54 percent and for females 37 to 47 percent.

So basically both are different things but generally used to denote the same conditions
