How do you think our culture would exist if there were no social norms?

Social norms are rules that are accepted generally by the society for the welfare of the people. These social norms helps maintain the people to live in a orderly way and helps to raise and meet the expectations and create discussions in the society. A society becomes cultured and stable only if it has certain rules and people in the society abide by them. If there are no social norms it becomes difficult for an individual on how to behave in a social group and how to meet their expected needs. If there is no norms in the society understanding the society will be a difficult thing and they donot have social influence. Social norms helps to predict people what others think in a surrounding such as work place or home. Social norms vary depending on the area . For eg. People can do as they wish at home . but when they come in a place like hospital they should maintain silence. These types of norms if not present humans will not behave in a ordered way. Hence norms are of great importance to society. It is impossible to imagine a normless society, because without norms behaviour would be unpredictable. Man cannot live alone . Hence he depend on the society for his wellbeing. If there were no normative order there could be no human society. Thus if there is no norms there wont be no punishment , no imprisonment etc. Hence the society would be full of violence and human population unable to survive. Thus norms are important for the society to maintain culture .
