Time of day : The body temperature lowers during night around bed time, as the metabolic processes are at rest. During the day, with higher amount of physical activities, it might increase.

Cold water exposure: As we know, that the body maintains temperature by thermoregulation, when exposed to cold water or cold environment, the body will swiftly increase its temperature and release more heat to maintain the internal body temperature. We are concerned with too much heat loss in such situations.
