The pros: the producer in a habitat which keeps on producing the food from the natural sources would help to feed the consumers (Primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary consumer) continuously in that particular habitat with a population of the different organism. This means that a community can survive as long as the producers supply the food to the consumers in that particular habitat.

The cons: And when the producers decline, the habitat has to face the tragedy in which many of the consumers would be affected, at last leading to a catastrophic effect. There will no choice for the consumers to survive for a prolonged period.
