Outflow = 1450 cfs = 1450 *86500/(10.89*106) = 11.5 feet/day

Infiltration = 2 inch/month

Infiltration = 0.005 feet/day

Precipitation = 8.5 inch/month = 0.0236 feet/day

Change in storage (?S) = 0.4 ft/day

We know that

Evaporation(E ) = precipitation + inflow + infiltration – outflow + change in storage

E = 0.0236 + 11.9 + 0.005 – 11.5 + 0.4 = 0.828 feet/day

Evaporation(E ) = 0.828 feet/day   Answer
