Give an example of each of the queuing models:

Single-channel waiting line,

Multiple Single-channel waiting lines and

Multiple-channel waiting line.

Which would you prefer to wait in? Why?

Solution

Single Channel waiting line : ATM machine ( one person can use at a time)

Multiple single Chanel Waiting lines: Restraunt ( Different waiter taking order from different customer and bringing food from same kitchen)

Multiple channel waiting line: Grocery stores with multiple cashiers ( Multiple customer can be attended at the same time)

Multiple channel waiting line would be prefered by me to wait in because the waiting time will be minimum in this queuing model. The service will be fast and save time.
