The Labelled part is known as the \'Seminiferous Tubules\'.
Seminiferous tubules are part of the male reproductive system. They are found in the male reproductive organ called the testes. The testicles are sub divided into smaller sections known as lobules, which are separated by the septa. Lobules are made up of seminiferous tubules.
The tubules act as a reservoir for the production of male cells/ sperm cells through meiosis. They also possess sub cellular compartments known as Leydig cells, which are responsible for the production of the male sex hormone -Testosterone, which further help in the development of the sperm cells. Due to the tight connection between the sertoli cells and the tubules, it is nearly impossible for any large biological moeity ( like an antibody) from entering the tubules, which is required to protect the sperm cells.
