Why are there so many different computer programming languages, all with the same underlying approach?

Yes all languages are having same underlying approach and give the same result like other languages do. Bu the languages evolve with time. In C , there are no classes and objects , No exception handling in early C++ , no built in threads in java. So each language differ though having same underlying appraoch. Each language has different way of solving the problem .Like in python language : considered as the simple , easy and short programming language. It is easy to use and write than C , C++ . It is all because of evolution . Without evolution in programming language , we would have still using assembly language.
