Unit consistency in FEA is guaranteed as long as I only use Si units Select one: True False

Solution

False.
Unit consistency : Consistency itself means they are consistant in using everywhere.

In FEA we consider units quite generally, for example:

Here depending upon what primary units we substitute , the corresponding secondary units will change. If I substitute leng in meters, it becomes SI and if I keep foot, it becomes FPS. There are no such constrainsts that only SI units should be used.

1 force unit = 1 mass unit * 1 acceleration unit

1 acceleration unit = 1 length unit / (1 time unit)^2

1 density unit = 1 mass unit / (1 length unit)^3
