Why we use a section of SRAM to define registers R1 R2 Solut

Why we use a section of SRAM to define registers R1, R2, …?

Solution

In the architecture of microprocessor the registers plays important roll. The speed of read and write cycle time of data from registers is very less than program memory. The speed of processor is depends on the clock. The data transfer between memory and processor is very low compared to clock rate because the main memory is made of Dynamic RAM technology i.e. capacitor and transistor.Static RAM is the technology, having the fast and low power memory. In order to improve the speed of operations the data transfer speed has to increase by using high speed Staatic RAM technology. But the fetching every the data from a large sized SRAM may take than small sized memory with the fast memory Technology. So the part of SRAM with small size of about 10-20 memory words with each word of 32-bit are place just after the processor. Thre by any data is recently used or resulted is fetched from register,if it is not available then only fetch from main memory. there by increase of Speed of operations.
