Requirements: 1- First feature will be the \"Glove which it will allows movement of a wheelchair on the basis of hand movements. The person just has to move his hand in order to move the wheelchair in forward, backward, left or right direction. 2- Second feature is Panic button\" this will be on the wheelchair arm, it will allow the user to press on it whenevet he need help. This button is a simple switch will trigger the device that consists of an Arduino board and GSM module. The Arduino board sends a signal to the GSM Module with a SIM Card, which will send an emergency message to the contact. The information can be used by the emergency contact to pinpoint the user\'s location exactly and track the user in the shortest time possible 3- The fourth is power generation\". It\'s works by converting the mechanical motion of the rotating wheel into electrical motion with the use of a permanent magnet.

Solution

1) project identification:

This project is to develop a wheelchair control which is useful to the physically handicapped person with his hand movement or his hand gesture recognization using MEMS technology.

In addition to this this project also provides panic button which is helpful for person in emergency situation. And it is also provided with power generation equipment which is used as a mobile charger.

2) project concept:

  Depending on the direction of MEMS micro controller controls the wheelchair directions like left,right, front and back.

The panic button is a simple switch which will trigger the device that consists of a arduino board and GSM module which will send an emergency message to the targeted contact.

3) User requirement analysis:

The main requirement of the user is to move the wheelchair automatically so that it is very much helpful to the handicapped person.
