I test the hypothesis H0: = 0 against HA: 0. The sample mean is x = 2 and p-value is 1.2%. What is the p-value for the hypothesis H0: 0 against HA: > 0?

A) 98.6%

B) 50%

Solution

The sample mean is x = 2 and p-value is 1.2%

fonr two tail p value=0.012

and forn one tail =(0.12 / 2) =0.006

Hence P value for one tail is 0.006

I test the hypothesis H0: = 0 against HA: 0. The sample mean is x = 2 and p-value is 1.2%. What is the p-value for the hypothesis H0: 0 against HA: > 0? A) 9
