Two flat plate solar collectors are considered to be install
Two flat plate solar collectors are considered to be installed for a low-temperature solar application where the solar field will be working between temperature difference (Tfi-Ta) of 15C up to 35C and for solar irradiation in the range of 350W2m^2 and 800 W/m^2. Considering the working conditions which collector should be selected? Please comment your answer.

 Collector1: Ac(m^2)=2.25, Nopt(N for efficiency)=0.792, FRUL1( W/m^2K^2) = 5.3, FRUL2= 0.0182, Tstagnation(C)= 148
 Collector2: Ac(m^2)= 2.23, Nopt=0.747, FRUL1(W/m^2K^2)=3.824, FRUL2= 0.023, Tstagnation(C)= 149.5

 Solution
collector 1 should be selected as it is more efficient then second
collector 1 also has small surface area so it will require less space for installation
heat transfer coeff FRUL1 iand 2 s also high fort his
