Yes, the evidence suspected of containing an accelerant (Ignitable Liquid Residue samples) require special handling or packaging in a way that can be properly identified in the lab. Headspace vapour is collected from the zone between the top of fire debris and the bottom of the lid and the sample should be filled two third volume leaving 1/3 space to collect the volatile evidence.
