Talking about current non-engineering aspect that can affect my engineering career:

I see recent elections of the USA having a great impact on my engineering career. The newly former government vows to bring the industries back to the USA from China and also give preference to the people from the States over the foreign students as far as job opportunities are concerned.

For example: Recently news broke that Apple is planning to reopen its manufacturing units in the USA which they currently have in China. For this they are considering all the possible angles of effects on theri business. Like wise many manufacturing companies are planning in a similar way, which will eventually lead to greater job opportunities for the people of the USA.

Now, being a student of Mechanical Engineering, this makes me ideal for working in the core of the manufacturing plants. A sound knowledge in the field of Mechanical Engineerng will definitely improve my job prospects along with a surety of a promising career ahead.
