Find the six trigonometric function values of the specified

Find the six trigonometric function values of the specified angle. sin phi = (Simplify your answer, including any radicals. Use integers or fractions for any numbers in the expression.) cos phi = (Simplify your answer, including any radicals. Use integers or fractions for any numbers in the expression.) tan phi = (Simplify your answer, including any radicals. Use integers or fractions for any numbers in the expression.) Enter your answer in each of the answer boxes.

Solution

Using Phythagoras Theorem, we have :

c2 = a2 + b2

c2 = 152 + 292 = 1066

c=sqrt(1066)

Now, we have to remember SOH CAH TOA

sin = Opposite/Hypotenuse = 29 / sqrt(1066). Now, we rationalize. So, we would have : 29 sqrt(1066) / 1066

cos = Adjacent / Hypotenuse = 15 / sqrt(1066). Now, we rationalize. So, we would have : 15 sqrt(1066) / 1066

tan = Opposite/Adjacent = 29/15

cot = reciprocal of tan = 15/29

sec = reciprocal of cos = sqrt(1066) / 15

csc = reciprocal of sin = sqrt(1066) / 29
