What is a micelle What is a vesicle How are these structures
What is a micelle? What is a vesicle? How are these structures the same? How are they different?
Solution
Micelle: it is unilayered lipid structure with hydrophillic tails & hydrophobic heads. Micelles are structures, in which core of the aggregate constituted with hydrophobic ends and outer ends such as head ends constituted with hydrophilic ends and finally establish hydrophilic and lipophillic equilibrium.
Vesicle: it is crystalline or unilamellar composed of bilayer of lipids in its structure
These structures are similar only with respect to shape and both structures contain layers of lipids
They are different in their lipid layer composition
