You are attempting to use a recovery disc to repair a Windows XP computer that has blue-screened. You insert the disc into the computer’s CD/DVD drive and restart the machine, but the computer won’t boot from the disc. What is wrong?

A. The computer is so badly damaged, it is unable to access the recovery disc files.

B. The CD/DVD drive is incompatible with the recovery disc.

C. The boot sequence isn’t set to look at the CD/DVD drive before the hard drive.

D. The wrong recovery disc was shipped with the computer.

Solution

Either B / D. Because, if we want ro reboot or repair our exixting OS. while rebooting we have to go to bios set up by pressing F2. Then we can start our process. If it is unable to do that menas either the drive has any damage or incomapatible to the disc we provide -or- the disc you have taken is not the correct disc for repairing Operating System.
