Human body regulate its metabolic processes to maintain in a constant equilibrium state for the normal functioning of the system and this is known as homeostasis. Examples are temperature, ph, blod gelucose level etc.
Homeostatic regulation is done by 3 mechanisms:
1)Receptor - Receives information about the change in environment
2)Control center - Receives and processes information from the receptor (Hypothalamus)
3)Effector - Respond to the Control center\'s message
There are two feedback system that can able to maintain the homeostatic state:
1. Positive feedback system (example - child birth) 2. Negative feedback system (example - regualtion of blood pressure)
