in a given population of newborns, if 7% of it is atleast 50 of these children then there are enough subjects for their study.
7% x 950 = 66.5
66.5 > 50, therefore there are enough subjects (if the result is 50, then the probability is 50/50 = 1; if it is <50, then the probability is <50/50 or <1.)
