Question Companies generally create a duplicate data center

Question : Companies generally create a duplicate data centers at a remote location. Why do they have to create duplication of the data Center?

Solution

This is generally done in case of any failure say fire, break-in, flooding, etc. If the organization’s location is compromised due to any such reason in that case the data will remain untouched and unharmed at its remote location. It allows you to recover data in the event your primary data center is destroyed. secondary data center is not used for running normal business operations.This is more like a backup.
