Solution

First question

In order to find the transformation of pre image so the following things.

1.Look at the movement of any given point on the pre image(translation)

2.watch for rotation of the pre image.

In the given pre image, I referred to the movement of a vertex initially at (-8,3).this point moves to cordinates (-4,-3). this is nothing but movement of pre image by 4 units to right and 6 units down.

Now the intermediate image is rotated by 90 degrees in anti clockwise direction to get the final image as shown.

Thus in sum, the total transformation can be described as moment of 4 units to right then 6 units down and then anticlockwise rotation by 90 degrees.

second transformation

Clearly the point C(2,3) moves to (-6,-7) and the whole pre image is rosaries in anticlockwise direction by 180 degrees.

Thus the transformation can be described as translation of 8 units to left and 10 units down and then rotated in anti clockwise direction by 180 degrees.
