An experiment observed the behaciors of 2 groups of lizards

An experiment observed the behaciors of 2 groups of lizards. One lizard from each group were paired for observation. This was reapeated for a total of 12 experiments. The total poulation was 24, there were 12 lizards in each group. The averages of the observed behaviors were calculated. Standard devation and the paired T-Test values were also caculated. How do I determine if the ttest values are signifcant?

Solution

If the Paired t-test value is greater than the t- critical value at 11 degrees of freedom at a desired level of significance, then you can determine that the values are significant at the desired level of significance.
