a) passing through ( 4, 4 ) and perpendicular to the graph of 3y+2x= -6

b) passing through ( -1, 6 ) and parallel to the graph of 2y-6x= 4

3 a) passing through ( 4, 4 ) and perpendicular to the graph of 3y+2x= -6

y= -2x/3 -6/3

y = -2x/3 - 2

Slope of the line shall be : m = 3/2

Std slope intercept equation: y= mx+c ---> y= 3x/2 +c

Letbfind c from the given point ( 4, 4)

4 = 6 +c

c =-2

y = 3x/2 -2 Equation of line

b) passing through ( -1, 6 ) and parallel to the graph of 2y-6x= 4

2y -6x =4

y = 3x +4/3

Slope of line shall be m = 3. So, y = 3x+c

Lets find c from the given point ( -1,6)

y = 3x+c ---- 6 = -3 +c

c=9

y = 3x +9 Equation of line
