A circular loop decreases in size from a diameter of 32 cm t

A circular loop decreases in size from a diameter of 3.2 cm to 1.8 cm in 0.8 seconds. A magnetic frield of 2.2 T is applied perpendicular to the plane of the loop. What is the induced emf in the loop?

Solution

induced emf = change in flux / change in time

=> induce emf = B*dA/dT

=> induced emf = (2.2*3.14*(1.6^2-0.9^2)*10^-4)/(0.8) = 0.001511 V
