We have to use the coolants as we get high temperature oultets and the exhausters for letting the heat of the compressor to get supressed. And also to check whether positioning and rotating of the piston are perfect or not but the maintaince is so easy rather than rotary air compressors. As it works on high pressures so it will produce some noise and to compensate the noise we use precautionary measures.

b) The main causes for faults are the heavy working of machine and heavy loads. Due to the heavy load we get the hot air outgoing so we might get the burning of the shaft and windings. Due tp heavy working of loads the voltage drops might occur and short circuit occurs.
