A doublet of strenght k is immersed in uniform flow. If the freestream velocity is doubled, describe the shpae and size if the reulting flow field with respect to the two flow velocities.

Solution

The shape and size of the doublet will be changed and the shape will be more like dumbbell shaped while the size will be reduced as compared to its original size before exposing to the two velocities or when it was exposed in the uniform flow.
