Solution
Following are the points where fallacy lies:
1. The spill had both long term as well as short term economic effects. These are due to the loss of recreational sports, fisheries, reduced tourism etc.
2. Commercial fisheries for crab, shrimp, salmon, herring were closed.
3. Over 26000 jobs were lost in the tourism industry.
4. The cost to obtain wildlife or rehabilitate them along with the cost of losing 2800 of these endangered species.
5. The Prince William Sound shoreline are still contaminated with various gallons of oil.
