Maltiply by both sides on 9

32x * 9+1*9 = 1/9*9

288x+9 = 1

Substract 9 from both sides

288x + 9 - 9 = 1 - 9

288x = - 8

x = -8/288

x = -1/36

3b) 32x+1=5

log(32x+1) = log5

32x+1 = 5

Subtract 1 from both sides

32+1 - 1 = 5 - 1

32x = 4

x = 4/32

x = 1/8
