Put the following in the order of events during one cardiac
Put the following in the order of events during one cardiac cycle. Atrial Myocardium AV Bundle Branches AV Bundle AV Node Purkinje Fibers SA Node Ventricular Myocardium
Solution
SA node-atrial Myocardium-AV Node- AV Bundle- AV Bundle Branches- Purkinje Fibers- Ventricular Myocardium.
Impulse for electrical conduction generates in SA Node which is called pacemaker of heart. From the SA node impulse travels to muscles of arteries (atrial myocardium) causing arteries to contract. This impulse is then received by AV node also called pace setter of heart. From the AV Node, elextrical impulse travels to bundle of His. It travels impulse to bundle branches where from impulse is transmitted to purkinjee fibers and is finally transmitted to muscles of ventricles.
