Solution
we know that 1 foot = 12inches. Therefore 3 feet = 3*12 = 36 inches
Which means 3 inches can be enlarged to 36 inches which is 12 times its normal size (36/3)
Therefore the larger side can be enlarged to 5 * 12 = 60 inches = 5 feet
Therefore the dimensions of the enlargement is 36 inches by 60 inches or 3 feet by 5 feet
