What are power loss and voltage drop and how are they related?

  Solution
Power loss = Voltage drop * current flowing throught it.
Voltage drop = Current flowing throught * Resistance opposed to current flow.
Power loss means the power which is generated to meet a load, some power is not used by the load and this will dissipate as heat.
Voltage drop is drop due components and thus decrease output required voltage at load.
For example resistors, diodes, capacitors , inductors which are connected in between source and load cause theses power loss and voltage drops.
