Solution

In the above equation hydrogen, oxygen and water are in the ratio of 2:1:2. i.e., 2 moles of hydrogen, & 1 mole of oxygen combine to give 2 moles of water.

2moles of hydrogen =4gm of hydrogen

1mole of oxygen = 32gm of oxygen

Here 4moles of hydrogen =8gm and 2moles of oxygen = 64gm. are avilable giving rise to 72gm of water with 1mole of hydrogen left over.
