I am having difficulty doing sum of the series problems. Please show and explain the process step-by-step so I can understand and do sum of the series problems later on. Thank you.

It converges and is equal to

3e+(3e)²/9+...

3e(1+3e/9+(3e)²/9²+...)=3e(1/1-(3e/9))=27e/(9-3e).
