Differences between leaders and managers:
1. Leader motivates, influences and helps the team members to achieve their target and goals whereas leader controls and directs team members to achieve target.
2. Leaders are self-motivates and driven by desire and they don’t need to be told what to do whereas Managers work when specific targets are given and they are not self-driven.
3. Leaders are always willing to change are the change agents of the organisation whereas leaders want to maintain the same status or same conditions.
4. Leaders have a long term visions whereas mangers are generally short-sighted and focus on short term goals.
5. Leaders create healthy relationship between shareholders, employees and customers whereas manager try to build systems and processes.
