If a 1024point FFT was calculated by Matlab Octave Simulink

If a 1024-point FFT was calculated (by Matlab, Octave, Simulink, etc.) , and the complex number output was converted into real numbers referred to as amplitude, why would the amplitude be \"normalized\" by dividing amplitude by 1024 ? What would be the benefit (or neccessity) of doing so ? Is there more than one reason ?

Solution

FET is a three terminal semiconductor device in which the current is controlled by an applied electric field. It is also called as unipolar transistor because in it current is carried by one type of carriers they are the majority carriers.majority carriers are electrons in N type or holes in P type semiconductors.

FET exhibits a high input resistance and high degree of isolation between input and outputand also noise less. Here 1024 point FET is calculated and it referred as amplitude in real numbers and the amplitude be normalized by dividing amplitude by 1024. Because by deviding with 1024 only get the amplitude as simple number becuase here using 1024 point FET.This is the only reason while deviding amplitude by 1024.
