For both the cases, we can use the t test for two sample means.it is given by the formula

t=mean1-mean2/sqrt(var1/n1+var2/n2)

Since p value is greater than 0.5, we accept the null hypothesis and conclude that female and male scores are equal.

Since p value is less than 0.5, we reject H0 and conclude that extracurricular activity imapct the GPA.
