What is the main difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic ribosomes? Prokaryotic ribosomes synthesize RNA whereas eukaryotic ribosomes synthesize proteins Eukaryotic ribosomes are composed of RNA and protons whereas prokaryote ribosomes are

Solution

None of the above

The main difference is that Prokaryotic ribosomes(70S) having two subunits- 30S and 50S

and Eukaryotic ribosomes(80S) also having two subunits- 40S and 60S

Both are composed of RNA & proteins. 70S having 60% RNA & 40% proteins while 80S having 40%RNA & 60% proteins.
