PMP :

If you’re an experienced project manager responsible for all aspects of project delivery, leading , then the PMP is the right choice for you.

The certification exam has 200 multiple-choice questions, and you will be given four hours to complete it.To maintain your PMP, you must earn 60 professional development units every three years.

Prerequisites

Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)7,500 hours leading and 35 hours of project management education

OR

Four-year degree4,500 hours leading and directing 35 hours of project management education

CAPM:

If you’d like to manage larger projects and gain more responsibility or add project management skills into your current role, then the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is right for you.

The certification exam has 150 multiple choice questions, and you will be given three hours to complete it.To maintain your CAPM, you must retake the exam for every five years.

Project+:

The 2009 objectives Project+ exam PK0-003 consists of 100 questions and should be answered in 90 minutes. The passing score on a scale is 710. The exam PK0-003 is available in English language version only and costs $239. CompTIA provides a preparation kit for the Project+ certification exam which contains of sample questions, interactive quizzes, articles and the study guide, which can help candidates pass the exam in the first attempt.
