A repeatedmeasures study uses a total of n 10 participants

A repeated-measures study uses a total of n = 10 participants to compare two treatment conditions. How many scores are measured in this study, and how many scores are actually used to compute the sample mean and the sample variance?

Solution

Given, total number of participants = 10.
We know that in one round 10 scores will be measured as number of participants are 10. But since we are using repeated-measures, therefore, set of another 10 scores will be measured for the second round. Therefore, in total, 20 scores will be measured in the given study.

All of the 20 scores are used to generate the sample mean and sample variance.
