Could anyone justify this?

Make a magnetic field detector to test for noise induced by mutual inductive coupling. Report your experiment either successful or failed (One report per team, maximum three members per team). Please justify why. Probe tip is grounded with its own ground wire; the probe ground does not touch the digital logic ground Magnetic fields from current loops on the printed circuit board couple noise voltages into the scope ground wire loolp

Solution

In order to detect magnetic field, one must have digital circuit boards having quite a few current loops ( physical loops, which occurs when copper wires are used to coonect one IC chip to another). In that case the proposed magnetic detector (made up using probe) would detect magnetic field. Here, the probe wire is one inductor whereas the long copper wires/connections of PCB/breadboard form another inductor. They are coupled mutually through the air.
