Most companies today are concerned about the country laws where the data centres of these cloud servers exist, for example a US based cloud company would be subject to the patriot act, similarly there would be other laws for other countires that would be concerns for any company that would go for the cloud. The prime concern should be data interception and decryption using GPU based computing. One solution for this would be to split the data using some form of map reduce algorithm and storing them in servers of different cloud servers based in different countries. So that even if the data is intercepted and decrypted, one would need to get multiple storage centres for any data to be useful.
