Steps in the systems development life cycle :
If we see in detail all the steps , all the steps are important.But if have to select the important one then Design is the important step of SDLC: when we are making SDLC , the design aspects are very important .In design we are converting all clients requirement in to system.That is crucial phase in SDLC. Most of the times what are the needs converted into design may not suit in system & for such case the developer needs to study the system again & again.
Personal involvement in determining IS requirements :

Whats the definition of organization :
A group of people coming together for achieving the common goals under common umbrella .When itself the definition of organizations express the meaning of this goal congruence.Every system needs to follow this rule. Because systems are part of organizations , organizations are not a part of system.
