Find the absolute maximum value and the absolute minimum val
Find the absolute maximum value and the absolute minimum value of the function, if they exist
f(x)=(x^3)+(3x^2)-1 on (-3,1)
I would really appreciate if you could show all the steps thoroughly because I am so lost. Thank you!
f(x)=(x^3)+(3x^2)-1 on (-3,1)

Solution
here F(x)=1 & x=-3 by putting values in equation 1=(-3^3)+(3(-3)^2)-1 1=-27+27-1 1=-1 so, this is not exist.
