Record the datasheet values for input offset voltage, input offset voltage adjustment, input bias/offset current, output short circuit current and supply voltage rejection. Supply voltage rejection (delta V_output/delta V_supply) is typically given in dB units on the data sheet. Convert this back to V/V. Design an Op Amp non-inverting amplifier with gain of about 1000 and R_f of 100 K ohm. If 5 mV was input to this amplifier, what would be its output? What happens to the output voltage of an ideal Op Amp voltage follower if a resistor is placed in the feedback path instead of just a short?
Solution
1 Ans) From the LM741 Texas Instruments datasheet
Below details are given at ambient temperature TA=25oC
input offset voltage= 1mV (typical) and 5mV (max)
Input offset voltage ±15 mV adjustment range
Input offset current 20 nA (typical) and 200 nA (max)
Input bias current 80 nA (typical) and 500 nA (max)
Output short circuit current =25 mA
Supply voltage rejection ratio 86dB(min)=19952.62 V/V, 96dB (typical)=63095.73 V/V
they converted by using 10^(dB/20) formula
