Ans: Enzymatic method for cell lysis is easy and fast but the cost for this method is high as compared to physical methods like manual grinding, homogenization, sonication etc.

bacterial cell lysis: Lysozymes are used.

For yeast cell lysis: Chitinase are used.

For lysis of plant cell wall: Pectin is used.

While creating lysis (writtent below):

Lysis buffers (containing salts like Tris-HCl or EDTA) to regulate the acidity and osmolarity of the lysate is used. Also, the pH, ionic strength, usage of detergent, preventative measure for proteolytic processes should be taken into account as an important factor.
