We were working on a negotiation with a potential customer to sell an ERP software to improve their business, the main porpouse of the sotware is to enhace the employees and to provide training, goals, objectives groups. The goal of our customer was to improve its service, to create stronger employees and to develope a culture where every one shares ideas.

Our goal was to sell our software and it was linked to the goal of our customer to improve its employees therefore both goals were linked.

Firs ot all I would define the issue that our customer wants to be solved, I would put alternatives that I can offer to them to start the bargaining process, I would set up my limits, I also need to set up targets which requires considering how to package several issues and objectives.

Another important thing is to analyze the other party, his resources, issues, interest and needs, targets and openings.

I would present the issues to the other party and also my recomendations.
