Imagine that you have drawn a random sample from a population where m = 100. Is the probability of obtaining a mean less than 90 different from the probability of obtaining a mean greater than 115? (Explain.)
Solution
if we have to draw an random sample among the 100 samples then probability of obtaining less than 90 mean or more than 115 mean will be same = 1/110
as every object has the same probability during the same event.
