Solution

y=4 tan(x-pi/2)

This equation is of the form

y=A tan (Bx-C)

A is the amplitude

period=pi/b

Therefore amplitude is 4

period pi/1=pi

To find the asymptotes we have to set x-pi/2 to pi/2 and -pi/2

x - pi/2=pi/2            x- pi/2=-pi/2

x=pi                         x=0

And that\'s the asymptotes
